LS Oil Pick Up Brace
Description
Improve the reliability of your LS engine’s oiling system with a simple but effective LS oil pick up brace. Suits all LS engines
From factory, the LS oil pickup tube is secured to the oil pump on only one side of the flange. This uneven clamping can allow the pickup tube O-ring to create an ineffective seal, potentially causing oil pressure loss or oil starvation.
Our aluminum brace makes use of the additional unused threaded hole in the oil pump, providing clamping force to both sides of the pickup tube flange. This helps maintain a more consistent seal around the O-ring and keeps the pickup tube securely located.
The brace is a straightforward bolt-on upgrade with no modifications required. When fitted with high-strength mounting hardware, it provides added security to the LS oiling system. Particularly worthwhile on performance, competition and high-RPM engine builds. Our LS oil pick up brace is cheap insurance against costly engine failure!
