Cylinder Heads

Southside Cylinder Heads and Engine Reconditioning Australia provide a market leading two-year warranty on new & reconditioned cylinder heads.  Since 1977 we have built a reputation on delivering the highest quality products available on the market. We back that up with a genuine two-year warranty so that you can make your next repair with total confidence!

Our cylinder head warranty covers brand new, fully reconditioned and exchange petrol, diesel, and L.P.G units for a period of two years with unlimited kilometres (private registered vehicles only).  Commercial, marine and industrial applications are covered for 12 months or 20,000 km’s, whichever comes first.  Warranty is subject to our full terms and conditions which can be obtained by contacting us, or by checking the reverse side of your tax invoice. Modified and race applications are not warranted.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Act (2010) (including the Australian Consumer Law) as well as other Australian laws guarantee certain conditions, warranties and undertakings, and give you other legal rights in relation to the quality and fitness for purpose of Southside Cylinder Heads products and services sold in Australia.

For added peace of mind, Southside Cylinder Heads are proud members of the RACQ and Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTAQ).  We are also bound by their codes of practice and codes of conduct, giving you total assurance of a prompt and fair resolution to any issue should one arise.

 Long Engines

Reconditioned long engines from Southside Cylinder Heads are covered by warranty for up to 2 years with unlimited kilometres.  If your engine is installed and serviced throughout the warranty period by Southside Cylinder Heads or one of our approved partners, you are covered by our comprehensive 2 year warranty (private registered vehicle’s only).  Engines that are not installed and/or serviced by Southside Cylinder Heads or an approved partner are warranted for 12 months or 20,000km’s, whichever comes first.

All commercial, marine and industrial engines are warranted for 12 months or 20,000km’s, whichever comes first.  Warranty is subject to our full terms and conditions which can be obtained by contacting us, or by consulting the warranty card supplied with your purchase. Modified and race applications are not warranted.
